THE GOOD CAUSE - MY PERSONAL VISION

It is no coincidence that this honey, the representation of the schools, and gold digging on the South Island was given to me by the universe... New Zealand is no coincidence, but destiny... All the more so after all the corrections (instructions from the universe) that have brought me this far... Hence, I am dedicating the second half of my life to my fulfilment of "contributing something good": Adding positive energy to ever-growing awareness and collective consciousness, as well as being compassionate and mindful - and always staying curious.

I don't claim to want to change the world. However, if each of us conveys the idea of "doing something good" to another 100 people in our lives - even if it's just a smile on the bus - and then these 100 people in turn pass it on and live it, and so on - then we will come closer to fulfilment and love and will have changed the world.

I want my Manuka honey to do good - both for health and for the world. Part of the proceeds support the global organisation against plastic in the oceans OCEAN MATERIAL. I also make regular donations to social organisations and support a beekeeper in Dachau who invented the "bee ball". In this way, bees in New Zealand also help the bees in Europe. MY “PERSONAL” HONEY

In 2016, after six weeks of traveling with my daughter Lara and her partner Matt (who now live in Wellington and made me a proud grandfather on Valentine's Day this year), I continued my journey alone for another week on my first trip to New Zealand. My travels led me to Coromandel, a picturesque peninsula and popular weekend getaway for Aucklanders, just over two hours away.

Driving along a gravel road labeled 309, a sign proclaimed, "Honey." Thinking honey would make a great souvenir for my return to Germany, I followed a narrow dirt track through a small river to an enchanting farm with green meadows, tall silver ferns, and hundreds of beehives. There, I met a beekeeper who had just been checking the honeycombs. She welcomed me warmly, and we chatted for half an hour about life, as is common in New Zealand even among strangers.

VISION & PHILOSOPHY

She then led me to a small wooden hut, an "honesty shack" where you leave money for your purchases. Inside, jars of honey with the number 100 on the lid were stacked on the shelves, each priced at $25. I was surprised at the cost, equivalent to about 15 euros, but felt it would be rude to leave without buying anything. So, I reluctantly bought four jars with my last $100, said a friendly goodbye, and moved on.

Less than ten days later, back in Germany, I headed to Stuttgart to celebrate my second daughter's 18th birthday at my ex-wife's house. When I handed my ex-wife one of the honey jars, she exclaimed, "No way! You brought MANUKA HONEY?" I was puzzled and asked, "So what?"

That day, I learned from my ex-wife about the unique effectiveness, various applications, and high value of Manuka honey. We laughed and did some research online, discovering that the exact honey from the same beekeepers, "309 Honey," was sold on Amazon for 56 euros per 500-gram jar! I thought, "If I had bought 40 jars, the flight would have been worth it!" and felt a bit frustrated that someone had already imported "my" honey to Germany.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to return to New Zealand five more times. Sue and Andrew, the friendly beekeepers of 309 Honey, have become friends and a favorite stop on my travels. Even when I didn’t have time for the eight-hour drive from Wellington to Coromandel, they sent me a parcel to keep my honey supply going.

In April, I visited the "309 farm" with my current partner and our wonderful three-year-old daughter. While closing the full boot, I casually asked if they were still working with their importer to Germany. When they said, "No," I was surprised. They explained that the cooperation had ended and they hadn’t found a new sales partner yet. Realizing this was a gift of providence, I replied, "You made my day! Give me a few months, and I will bring 309 Honey to Europe."

Here we are. Thank you, universe.

In love and fulfillment, Jonas

P.S.: For someone who had never dealt with transport regulations, customs and food regulations, pick-pack and shipping logistics, and labelling, etc., importing to Germany and distributing Manuka honey was a bit challenging. However, since this gift was given to me by the universe (fate, dear God, Buddha, etc.), it feels easy and right to make this vision come true. I have met so many people in the last few weeks who I would never have met, who all love this 309 Honey and experience its beneficial effects just as much as I do, and who have helped me and are now committed to promoting and recommending ‘309 Honey’ and thereby doing good. Since I had the inspiration to use the proceeds to support entrepreneurs who produce plastic from hemp, everything is flowing even more smoothly. A good sign to be on the right track. And ‘everything that comes easy’ should be pursued.

The first steps have been taken to counter the flood of plastic. Sue and Andrew have agreed to fill my orders in hemp jars starting this spring. It does cost more for packaging and transport – but never mind, I love it

And how nice it would be to be able to sell honey in our own ‘hemp jars’ in the long term and encourage many more to do so. If you have any tips and contributions to make, please get in touch with me via ‘Contact’.

The GOOD CAUSE – THE VERY PERSONAL VISION OF JONAS

I feel that this honey was given to me by the universe, the representation of the schools and the gold digging on the South Island... New Zealand is no coincidence, but destiny... All the more so after all the corrections (instructions from the universe) that have brought me here... I am therefore dedicating the second half of my life to my fulfilment of ‘contributing something good’. Adding positive energy to the ever-growing awareness and collective consciousness, as well as being compassionate and mindful - and always staying curious.

I don't claim to want to change the world. But if each of us conveys the idea of ‘doing something good’ to perhaps 100 people in our lives - even if it's just a smile on the tram - and then these 100 people in turn pass it on and live it, and so on - then we will come closer to our fulfilment and love and will have changed the world

Another part of the vision is to expand my readings. What could be better than reading - and being heard? Being read to also takes us back to our childhood, when our parents sat by our bed and accompanied us to sleep. I remember it so well with my first two daughters, one on my right, the other on my left, lying on the sofa for hours, reading metres and metres of children's and young adult literature. Reading aloud is attention - affection - and security.
This could flow into the vision of
OMEGA (place of togetherness, fulfilment, community and arrival) A farm/living community for around 20-40 people, intergenerational living, a place to meet, a centre for alternative healing methods of yoga, Lomi-Lomi, singing bowl, matrix and regression therapy, as well as a library, billiard room, restaurant and kitchen (cooking together is also a form of relaxation). Additional houses made from sustainable building materials such as hemp for around 20 guest rooms, as well as pitches for campers and tents. A monthly marketplace for surrounding farmers, a kindergarten and an event hall for approx. 7-800 people, for music concerts, readings, theatre performances, - but especially for seminars that promote collective awareness.

SCHOOL AND SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE NZ
Two of my daughters have already attended Western Springs College in Auckland and completed their International Baccalaureate. It is a joy to see how young people blossom in this beautiful country with its individualised school system, what and how they learn and how they broaden their horizons in life. I can only recommend that you give your child this unique expansion for life.

I am therefore very happy to share my experience and now represent Western Springs College, Auckland and also Wellington High School, on a private basis. I am happy to answer any questions about the school system, life and the friendly mentality in New Zealand and advise you on everything from enrolment to arrival. In addition to the school and the host parents, I am also available as a contact person during the duration of the trip, and my first daughter is even available on site. I also save you considerable costs through my direct placement.

The ideal time is after the 10th grade, regardless of whether it is at middle school or high school. Whether for a few months, a year, or even for 1 1/2 years in order to complete the NCEA international Abitur, which is recognised for university studies in Germany. If you would like to give your child this gift in life, or if you know someone who knows someone... I would be very happy to share my enthusiasm and pass on my experience.
