About Us

The German Importer:
When Stefan Jonas, director of the well-known TV series "Storm of Love", came to New Zealand for the first time a few years ago and travelled through a remote, fairytale valley on the Coromandel Peninsula, he came across this extraordinary honey. Beekeepers Sue and Andrew are a kind-hearted couple whose passion is to extract and bottle the "liquid gold" in a species-appropriate and particularly gentle way. This, the mild flavor and the overwhelming effect of "309 Manuka Honey" convinced him. It is his passion to import "309 Manuka Honey" to Europe, to share his enthusiasm and to do good at the same time, as the business also does charitable work. His website ordering is done by the social centre for disabled integration "Pfennigparade" and thus financially support it. And Stefan Jonas invests the profits from sales in inventors and companies that produce and sell plastic made from hemp. "This honey is a special gift from nature - and its distribution is intended to do good in the world and contribute to counteracting environmental pollution".

Thanks to his "very personal" contact with the beekeepers and the tea maker, Stefan Jonas guarantees the authenticity and gentle, species-appropriate production of the honey. He has also opted for a value of MGO 300+, as it can be used for all the diseases described above and still be offered at an attractive price.

The Canadian Seller in France and Spain:
A Canadian in Europe, entrepreneur and real estate agent Rose-Marie Couture has been interested in yoga, Qigong, herbal remedies, and holistic health for many years. She jumped at the chance to sell Manuka honey and tea in Spain and France, which Stefan Jonas imports to Europe via Germany. She believes it is a simply way for everyone to improve their health and immunity.

JONAS VERY PERSONALLY - The Blog

Why is the 309 Manuka honey from New Zealand a ‘very personal’ honey? And how did it come about that my path led me to New Zealand in the first place and that I am now an ambassador for four schools in Auckland or Wellington, for example? Or, how and where do I find gold in New Zealand? For which good causes do I contribute to with part of the proceeds from sales and brokerage?

I would like to tell you about my journey, how I developed the desire to contribute to a ‘more harmonious coexistence’, how I was able to experience ‘how fulfilling and grounding it is to do something good for others’ and how easy it can actually be ‘to follow your intuition - to trust in providence’.

‘Very personal’ therefore refers to US - TOGETHER. This forum not only offers answers, but is also a platform for my vision on the question ‘What is it actually about?’ or ‘What is really important?’. It is also intended to address the question of ‘attention, care and security’ and discuss ‘what do you think when you look in the mirror in the evening while brushing your teeth’. Here is the link to my German blog: https://309manukahonig.de/index.php/2019/12/16/wie-wurde-309-manuka-honig-zum-ganz-persoenlichen-honig/

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your vision on the blog, for giving yourself the gift of Manuka Honey while doing good for the world, for recommending this site to others and for bringing a smile to the moment.

Wishing you love + fulfilment
Jonas

Premium Authentic 309 Manuka Honey
JD Manuka Tea

309 HONEY is made in Coromandel, New Zealand: Picture golden sand and beautiful Pōhutukawa trees. It is named after The 309 Road which connects the peninsula's eastern and western seaboards.
It all started 20 years ago when the owners bought 60 acres of land on the 309 Road. The property came with 150 beehives. Over the years the business has grown, but their philosophy remains the same; producing the best honey they can:

"All of our honeys are raw, unpasteurized and coarse filtered. We don’t add any bad stuff and we don’t take away any good stuff. Simple.
We hope you enjoy it."

JD stands for two old friends, Jonas + Drechsler: Jonas is an old friend who imports the tea exclusively to Germany. Drechsler is the producer of the tea. You can only buy this Manuka tea from us in Europe.

This very personal JD Manuka tea from New Zealand
comes from the beautiful Golden Bay in the northwest of New Zealand's South Island. Twice a year, our JD Manuka tea is hand-picked from a natural wilderness area. Each tea leaf is carefully selected by hand. When harvesting, care is taken to pick only enough so that the tree can continue to develop well.

Our JD Manuka tea is therefore an authentic natural product. Our JD Manuka tea is said to promote sleep, strengthen the immune system and has many other valuable properties. But most importantly: we believe it simply makes you happy.
